Growing up!

Earlier this week Tanner lost his first tooth. It had been loose for a couple of months now, and Tanner was very excited about it.

Earlier this day I had those foam stickers out to let the kids play with them, and when they were done playing with them we cleaned up and the day continued on. That evening when the kids were just about to go to bed I hear Tanner surprisingly say, "My tooth came out!" He had found a little sticky foam letter on the ground and had been chewing on it. Tanner was super excited for a short minute then he became quiet and went and sat down on the couch. When we asked him what was wrong he answered, "my stomach hurts." I could tell because his face had turned a pale greenish color. Luckily he didn't throw up, and he started to feel better 20 minutes later.

With his dads help they wrote a letter to the tooth fairy, and Tanner drew a picture for her. Then he was off to bed.

In the morning Tanner was excited to see that the Tooth fairy had come. She gave Tanner a dollar for his tooth, and she wrote a note back to him. To answer Tanner's question she told him she was going to use his tooth to help decorate her tooth castle.

Tanner was very anxious to get to school that day so he could show his teacher and his friends that he was missing a tooth! So there you have it, how Tanner lost his first tooth!
